Managed Print Sales Consultant

RCM Data is currently seeking to fulfill the position of Managed Print Sales Consultant. The candidate will be required to evaluate an organizations printing environment and to recommend enhancements that will increase the value they can realize from their printer fleet. This is a planned approach to the acquisition and management of output devices (printers, faxes, scanners, copiers, etc) that includes assessment of a client’s output environment to determine the current state and then make appropriate recommendations for the future. The person in this position will be responsible for selling contracts around RCM Data’s Managed Print Solution. This position is responsible for prospecting, qualifying and strategizing to develop his/her own pipeline.

Managed Print Sales Consultant Specific Duties, Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Experience working within the Managed Print environment.

  • Provide pre-sales activities and solution development including:
    o    Analyzing client needs / technical requirements
    o    Recommending design / solution options
    o    Perform technical presentations and whiteboard sessions to client base.
    o    Prepare presentations, proposals, and scopes of work as required.

  • Proven track record of selling multiyear service contracts within a print management environment.

  • Knowledge of MPS software, such at FM audit and Print Audit is a plus.

  • 5+ years business-to-business selling experience.

  • Proven ability to call on prospective clients at technical and management levels.

  • Proficient computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).

  • Able to successfully prospect for new business.

  • Experience in pipeline building and management a must.

  • Experienced in deal negotiation, advancement and closing.

  • Excellent organization skills.

  • Strong financial skills including experience selling leasing contracts and or pay per use/level pay contracts.

  • Strong interpersonal, time management and self-motivational skills.

  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills.

  • Bachelors degree required.
