Line Printer Trade Up Program - Terms and Conditions
Official Terms and Conditions
Trade-In printer(s) must be currently in use by the end user in working
and or non-working condition with no missing parts. This Trade-In
program is a one for one offer, meaning that for each new TallyGenicom
line printer purchased the end user may Trade-In one (1) old printer.
Accumulating old trade-in printers from different end users is not
permitted.
Trade-In value and resulting credit is due from the reseller that the
end user has selected. Select resellers may extend the Trade-In value at
the time of new printer purchase by deducting the Trade-In value from
new printer purchase price. Others may opt to provide the end user a
credit after the Trade-In printer is received by TallyGenicom's return
center or when the serial number ID tag is returned to TallyGenicom.
Typical lead time for the shipment of new TallyGenicom line printers
is 5 business days from order receipt. All new TallyGenicom line
printers come with a 90 day on-site labor warranty and one year for
parts.
Up to $1,800 Trade-In for your old line printer
The Trade-In program is available to all end users in Canada
and the USA who purchase a new TallyGenicom line printer. The new line
printer must be purchased from an authorized TallyGenicom reseller,
delivered and installed between January 28, 2008
and July 31, 2008. The end user is eligible for a credit from the
reseller for the old printer that is being traded-in for which a new
TallyGenicom line printer is purchased. The trade-in value for the old
printer is dependent on the speed of the new TallyGenicom printer
purchased by the end user.

Only line matrix and band printers qualify for this Trade-In program.
Customers migrating from a serial matrix printer may also receive a $200
Trade-In credit when purchasing a new TallyGenicom line printer.
Trade-In serial printer must be a minimum of 400 cps @ 10 cpi to qualify
for the $200 credit.Free pick up of your old printer
During the program period TallyGenicom will also make arrangements to
pick up and return your old Trade-In printer to the TallyGenicom return
center. After your new printer is installed TallyGenicom will provide
the end user with a Return Authorization Number (RMA) and make
arrangements to have the old printer picked up and sent to the
TallyGenicom Trade-In center. Freight for the returned printer will be
paid by TallyGenicom. In typical situations the RMA will be issued
within 14 days of the new printer being delivered and installed.
In certain cases, at TallyGenicom’s discretion, the old Trade-In
printer will not be picked up and the end user will be asked to scrap
the printer locally and return the old printer serial number ID tag to
the reseller who will in turn notify TallyGenicom. The serial number ID
tag is required to complete the Trade-In and ensure that the end user is
entitled to the Trade-In value indicated above.
* TallyGenicom reserves the right, at
TallyGenicom's discretion, to reduce or disallow any trade-in values
shown, as the result of any special circumstances that may arise during
the promotional period. |
